This Christmas, as we celebrate the arrival of Emmanuel — God with us — we want to share a story from one of the courageous women we’ve had the privilege to walk alongside. Her name and details are changed to protect her privacy, but her journey is real, and her hope is nothing short of holy.
She first met our Four:10 Ministries outreach team in 2022.
At the time, she was working in a local club, trying to survive day by day. She remembers noticing “the church ladies” walking in — women who carried warmth and encouragement into a place where those things were often in short supply.
“I thought it was absolutely amazing,” she said. “I connected with one of them right away. The positivity and encouragement I received… I couldn’t let it go.”
Life shifted, as it often does. She left that club and entered another. And again — God made sure someone from Four:10 was there. A familiar face. A kind voice. A reminder that she wasn’t alone.
She stayed in touch with the outreach team, especially the woman she first met. When life grew heavier and the weight on her shoulders felt too much to carry, that outreach worker became her lifeline — someone she could go to, someone who listened without judgment.
Through her, she found her way to The Well: a place for therapy, Bible study, and gentle steps toward healing. “I feel God found me when I needed Him most,” she shared softly, “and He needed to get me closer to Him.” Over the last few months, she has watched Him show up again and again — in her courage, in her choices, in the changes she’s making to walk closer with Jesus. She describes her journey not as a sudden transformation but as a steady turning toward light. “God has shown up more,” she said. “I’ve really been changing my life around to walk with Jesus… and I’m sure He will only get closer.”
Today, she continues to stay connected with the outreach team — the same women who stepped into the clubs not knowing whose life would be touched, whose heart would be reached, or whose story would be rewritten.
This Christmas, her story reminds us why Four:10 exists.
Hope walks into dark places.
Light finds people where they are.
And God shows up — sometimes through a simple smile, a conversation, or a volunteer who said “yes.”
To every donor, volunteer, and prayer partner: this is the impact you make.
You are part of stories like hers — stories of courage, awakening, and the quiet miracle of a heart turning toward the Savior.
Thank you for helping hope walk in.
Thank you for helping women see that God is, truly, with them.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Four:10 Ministries.
