In February, we welcomed two women into the Four:10 residential program and began the process of helping them transition into the structure and rhythms of recovery. The first week focused on orientation and establishing the expectations that help create a safe and healthy environment for everyone in the home. Sadly, one of the residents made the decision to bring alcohol onto the property and drank it, which resulted in an automatic dismissal from the program after a random screening. While this was disappointing, moments like this remind us that recovery is a difficult journey and that not everyone is ready at the same time. We ask that you continue to pray for this woman, that she will one day be ready to pursue lasting freedom and healing.
We are encouraged, however, by the progress of the other resident currently in the program. She has been faithfully attending recovery meetings, participating in Intensive Outpatient treatment, engaging in therapy, and consistently passing her screenings. She is taking the program seriously and has shown a genuine desire to pursue both sobriety and spiritual growth. We are hopeful for the transformation that can take place in her life as she continues this journey.
Next week we will welcome another woman into the home, where she will begin orientation before entering full programming. Please pray for a smooth transition as she settles in and begins this new chapter. We also ask for continued prayer for our team as we lead this program—that God would give us wisdom, discernment, patience, and grace. We are grateful for the volunteers God has already brought alongside us, and we trust Him to continue providing the support and resources needed for this ministry in the months ahead.
