🎨 Welcome Ada Dickinson, Art Therapist
We’re thrilled to welcome Ada Dickinson, a licensed art therapist, to the Four10 Ministries team! Ada is now offering art therapy sessions to the women we serve—bringing a powerful and creative approach to healing. Art therapy is more than just making art; it’s a space where emotions can be safely expressed, even when words are hard to find. Through guided artistic expression, women can process trauma, gain self-awareness, reduce stress, and develop healthy coping tools.
As one participant shared, “Art Therapy is the favorite day of my week. It is calm and relaxing, an environment in which I can be vulnerable and express my true feelings. Ada is supportive, patient, insightful, and kind. I am very grateful to have Art Therapy in my life!”
Ada brings a deep passion for helping women reclaim their identity and self-worth. With years of experience as an art teacher and a strong background in trauma recovery, she felt called to use creativity as a pathway to healing. “I saw individuals bring their true personalities into their art and realized it was a powerful way to help people discover who they really are,” she says. Her desire to work with Four10 Ministries stems from both her professional expertise and her personal witness of friends overcoming devaluing experiences to find fulfillment. We’re honored to have Ada on board, using art to remind women that they are seen, valuable, and deeply worthy of healing.
