Administrative Assistant

Four:10 Ministries is looking for an administrative Assistant for the Executive Director. This is a part-time position with the potential to become a full-time position. This position is to assist the Executive Director of Four:10 Ministries with duties that do not require an Executive Director to perform. This job can be done from home until the center is open, then the position will require the administrative assistant to work from the office at the center.

Administrative Assistant skills and qualifications:
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • People person
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a group and on their own.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Confidence in decision making.
  • Positive attitude for greeting guests
  • Familiarity with scheduling and organizational software. (preferred, but not required)
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Job Responsibilities

1. Assist with community development and fundraising

  • Make calls to set up meetings for the Executive Director with Churches, Corporations, Individuals
  • Do mailings for fundraising
  • Send out emails for fundraising campaigns
  • Send out Newsletter via constant contact (communications person will write)
  • Participate on Gala committee

2. Manage the Executive Director’s calendar

3. Assist with Donor Management

  • Write Thank You notes to individuals
  • Write Thank you letters to corporations
  • Forward large donors to Executive Director to contact
  • Update information for donors in Aplos

4. Make appointments for social worker or therapist with individuals needing their services.

5. Coordinate Prevention Education Program (once it gets started)

  • Coordinate schedules with schools and other organizations
  • Manage Facilitators schedules
  • Keep all records for program

5. Assist with Prevention Education Program (once it has begun)

  • Manage Calendar for facilitators
  • Keep all records for the program
  • Coordinate schedules with schools and other organizations

5. Manage calendar for the center when other organizations want to use our space.

6. Receptionist for the center once it is open.

Hours per week                   10 to 20 hours to start, with potential for up to 40 hours

Pay Range                             $16 to $23/hr. depending on previous experience
